3rd Brigade is officially home!

Yesterday I left work for a few hours to attend our brigade's Welcome Home and Uncasing the Colors ceremony. I know I would probably think differently if I were the one wearing the green uniform and standing in a field for two hours, but I really enjoy military ceremonies. They make me feel especially proud to be an American and an Army wife.

Fortunately no small children ran out into the field in front of the stryker this year.

  1. You look great and I'm so glad you could be there!! I've never been to an official ceremony (only heard Ryan complain about the standing in them, haha) but I would love to sometime. What an experience! Welcome Home 3rd Brigade!

  3. There really is nothing like a military homecoming! I wish everyone in the U.S got to experience the energy, excitement and unbelievable pride at one of these events. I'm so glad I got to experience it.
